Glacier Park - West Entrance is exactly 2 miles from San-Suz-Ed Rv Park. It's only 6 miles to Glacier Park's Apgar amphitheater, where evening programs by rangers are at 9 or 9:30pm. More Glacier Park information may be obtained at the Glacier Park Web Site.

What does it cost to enter the park?

  • The entrance fees are as follows:
  • Single Person Entry - $12.00 for a 7-day pass
  • Single Vehicle Entry - $25.00 for a 7-day pass
  • Glacier National Park Pass - $30.00 for a one-year pass
  • National Parks Pass - $50.00 for a one-year pass
  • Golden Age Passport - $10.00 for a lifetime pass
  • Golden Access Passport - No fee for a lifetime pass

Special conditions apply to commercially operated activities in the park. If you use park resources to provide a service (regardless of non-profit status) certain restrictions may apply to you. Please contact the park for more information

Remember the overall length restriction for Going-To-The -Sun Road is 21 feet.

Lake McDonald Hotel - from here head northeast toward Logan Pass and take the Trail of the Cedars on "going-to-the-Sun" road. Stop at St. Mary and take in all the shopping. Johnson's on top of the hill have a fabulous view and camping, plus family style meals.

Many Glacier Hotel - in this area is where you'll find Mountain Sheep. Then, off to Canada.

Canada- Over the border is the Prince of Wales Hotel. An excellent boat trip on the lake takes you to the Goat Haunt [in USA] and back into Canada.

Take a drive around the picturesque town and visit the many shops. You may even spot wild animals that live there.

Up from the campground is the waterfalls.

At Mountain View - a visit at the Caribou Clothing Factory. Stop at Cardston and take a look at the Carriage Center or the Mormon Temple.

Two Medicine area - have many boat trips with St. Mary and Many Glacier being the favorites.

Browning - (A few miles east of East Glacier is) part of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. It holds an excellent FREE museum displaying the culture of the Plains Indians and the town celebrates Indian Days in July. Then to East Glacier, and see the Glacier Park & Amtrak Depot. Golfing, ride Amtrak between East to West Glacier. Two Medicine holds boat tours, hiking, fishing and camping.
